The PowerScan Extra Long Range Bar Code Readers have been specifically designed ``from the ground up`` to meet the demands of tough industrial applications especially where some labels are scanned up close and others at great distances. With the XLR model you can read 20 mil labels as close as 28`` / 71 cm and 100 mil reflective labels as far away as a whopping 36` / 11 m. In any long-range application, you can rely on PowerScan XLR for fast, accurate Bar Code reading of both paper and reflective labels. PSC`s QuadraLogic II decoding software enables users to successfully read most dirty, smudged and damaged labels that were previously considered unreadable.
